Open the New World
Illyrian Elves are a newer race to this world, being as they have only started to migrate from the Tri-Fire Islands 10 years prior. They wish to expand their horizons and see the new world for themselves. The Illyrians look to take steps in the right direction, rather than jump into the unknown and risk their lives doing so.
Physical Description: Being taller than humans, they are also more frail but graceful. Their facial features define the, with wide, almond shaped eyes and pointed ears. They are also known to have odd hair colours, such as silver, teal or even green, but it is not unheard of to have ordinary colours as well. Their clothing looks to be that of a different land, but it stands out in a way that isn’t tacky or out of place.
Society: Although they are considered reclusive to those of the newer world, the Illyrian Elves are not that way. This is because they originate from the Tri-Fire Islands, which are treacherous to reach as it is.
Within their own land, they are very civilized, despite their surroundings. The villages are small but tightly knit together in unison with each other. Outside of their native island, they are accepted more or less because they are not as snooty as their Bastarian brethren. Although, their numbers are much smaller outside of their homeland, mostly because of the journey that it takes to get to the different islands.
Relations: When it comes to most races, they are accepted as being elven. Halflings and humans tend to show the most respect, seeing how the halflings are quite hospitable and humans wish to learn from those with wisdom and knowledge. Dwarves and gnomes are a bit leery because they look much like Bastarian elves, so a small prejudice is there, but is quickly erased when they interact with them. Orcs tend to keep their distance, which is fine by the Illyrians. It is actually the Bastarians that give the most trouble, often looking down on them as different and at times using derogatory terms such as “Illy” (which is considered quite offensive).
Alignment and Religion: Although they are not strictly on one side of the axis or another, Illyrians tend to be more towards law than chaos. Keeping an order within their homeland and wishing nothing more to learn more and explore backs up such claims.
Adventurers: Illyrian Elves may train from a young age to become warriors or spellcasters. After being discovered by the crew of the Crimson Binome many Illyrians chose to leave their home out of simple wanderlust or to explore another culture. At the moment, there are two adventurers that are trying to make a name for themselves. One is Rosa Ealovir while the other is simply named Joachim.
